This Privacy Policy explains how Zuko Ventures LLC (“Zuko”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service.

1. Who We Are

Zuko Ventures LLC operates the Zuko & Co platform and online store. The Store is available at zukoco.com, and the Platform is available at main.zukoco.com.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information

When you sign in using Google, we receive and store your email address and may receive basic profile information such as your display name and profile photo. We do not receive your Google password.

2.2 User Content

We collect and store the photos you upload (for example, pet photos) and other content you submit through the Service. We also store Generated Content (AI-generated designs and images) created from your uploads.

2.3 Orders and fulfillment

If you purchase products, we collect order details such as items purchased, shipping address, and contact information needed to fulfill the order.

2.4 Payments

Payments for product purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We may store limited transaction metadata (such as payment status and transaction IDs). For Creator Program participants, Stripe Connect processes payouts and may collect additional identity and banking information directly.

2.5 Usage data and cookies

We collect usage data such as device/browser information, IP address, log data, and actions taken on the Service. We use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 7 below.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Service, including generating AI designs, publishing product listings, and supporting re-orders.
  • Process and fulfill orders through our fulfillment partners.
  • Communicate with you about your account, orders, and important service updates.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our policies, and keep the Service secure.
  • Market and promote the Service, including using example designs and product mockups (we do not publish your email address as part of marketing).
  • Send marketing communications to Canadian users only with their express consent, in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. How We Share Information

4.2 Other disclosures

  • Legal and safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Public Listings

Products created through the Service may be listed publicly in the Store and may be viewable and purchasable by anyone. You should assume that Generated Content and product mockups may be publicly displayed. Public listings do not include your email address or account details.

  • Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are necessary for the Service to function.

  • We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or trackers.
  • If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy and provide opt-out mechanisms.

8. Your Rights

8.1 All users

  • You can stop using the Service at any time.
  • You can contact us to ask what data we hold about you.
  • You can request correction of inaccurate data.
  • You can request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations and legitimate interests (such as maintaining product listings and tax records).
  • You can withdraw consent for AI processing of your photos at any time by contacting us at privacy@zukoco.com.

8.2 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to know: Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected.
  • Right to delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions.
  • Right to opt-out of sale/sharing: We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

8.3 Canadian residents (PIPEDA)

If you are a Canadian resident, you have the following rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA):

  • Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.

  • Right to opt out of direct marketing: Request that we stop using your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

10. Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and change the “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (such as by email or a notice on the Platform).
